Things aren’t always black and white, but IJP Design’s “The Final Chapter” limited edition putter cover (in stunning black and white color) commemorating this season’s final major, clearly captures both the picturesque beauty and menacing peril of The Ocean Course - venue of the 2012 PGA Championship.
In a spirited style that fans of IJP Design and Ian Poulter will both admire and appreciate, “The Final Chapter” is neatly crafted with embroidered sights and symbols of South Carolina Oceanside allure. Exhibiting passionate attention to detail, on display are the nautical coordinates of Kiawah Island Golf Resort, a graceful indigenous bird, and alluring palm tree.
The Ocean Course and Atlantic Ocean
winds can bring the greatest players in the world to their knees, and “The
Final Chapter” features a center positioned marine anchor and two criss-crossed
golf clubs - eerily reminiscent of a skull and bones warning. This foreboding image suggests the players
will be brutally tested - and only the most resolute will survive the dangerous
and daunting conditions that lie in wait.
This IJP Design “buried treasure” will be available in both
mallet style and blade style versions at IJP Design for
$69.95, and will arrive with a handsome protective lined tote bag.
“The Final Chapter” marks the very
successful conclusion to the IJP Design 2012 majors collection and if
you’re a fan of collectibles for majors - IJP Design holes out with each of
these beauties. The putter covers have been
nothing short of spectacular.
“The putter cover collection has given us the opportunity to
offer customers a new and unique edition to their golf bags, encompassing both
IJP Design’s customary functionality and style,” said Mark Truby, Managing
Director of IJP Design.
From the first major at Augusta National to the U.S. Open in San Francisco, then overseas for the transcontinental journey to Royal Lytham & St. Annes and back for the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island, each IJP Design major collectible putter cover is uniquely attractive, detailed, and symbolic of the particular venue.
Here’s hoping for more of the same from IJP Design for the
2013 Tour season.
In the meantime, for those of you looking for more IJP
Design goodness to hold you over, here’s a bit of welcome and exciting news. The Autumn/Winter 2012
collection will soon be revealed!
It
will be IJP Design’s 11th collection, and by the end of the year it will be
stocked in all 30 golf playing nations around world. So stay tuned.
Until then, as Ian says, “Look good, feel good, play great.”
